Rotten Wall Plate, We Were Asked To Investigate Severe Damp Problems On A 1900 Century Cottage, We Found All The Felt Had Rotted, Which Caused The Wall Plate To Rot Together With Half The Rafters.

We Are Creating Two 4 x 2 Treated End Rafters To Enable Us To Extend The Roof Over The Pine End, We Then Fit R-Type Continuious Dry Verge
A Womans Work Is Never Done, Janette Fitting Bonding Gutter And Cutting In Slates Between The Two Cottages  Adding The Womans Touch.
We Then Remove All The Rotten Rafters, And Fit Back All Treated Rafters
First We Remove Rotten Wallplate, We Then Fit 8 x 2 Treated Wallplate
As Illustrated, The Wall Plate Has Suffered Wet Rot With Signs Of Dry Rot.
Mrs Perryer Was Quite Shocked At The Extent Of Damage That Had Been Caused By The Felt Rotting,  But She Was Delighted That She Engaged Our Company To Carry Out The Work.
